We will continue to provide updates, best routes,
and road closures throughout the construction phase
On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at approximately 6 a.m., northbound and southbound traffic on Euclid Avenue, just north and south of Broadway, will be shifted to the west side of the roadway with one lane in each direction. This shift will be in place to allow crews to mill (remove asphalt) the existing roadway, prep the subgrade for base paving on the north east section of the Broadway and Euclid intersection, as well as construct new curb and ADA ramps.
Left turns will not be permitted for motorists traveling southbound on Euclid Avenue to eastbound Broadway. This shift will be in place until the end of November. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather of unforeseen circumstances
On Sunday, March 29, 2020, both east and westbound travel on Broadway between Fremont Ave and Campbell Ave shifted to the south side of Broadway. This traffic shift will allow work crews to continue the underground utility work on the north side of Broadway between Euclid and Campbell.
Although there will be access off Broadway Blvd during this phase of the construction, we recommend using the unobstructed route below.
The easiest way to avoid ALL the construction is to use Kino Pkwy/Campbell Avenue. Take Kino Pkwy/Campbell to Miles St (no light). Turn on Miles St. heading west (towards downtown). Miles will dead end at S. Santa Rita. Go right on S. Santa Rita to 12th St. Left on 12th Street (west). 12th St. turns into Freemont. Turn left into Arizona Auto Refrigeration parking lot.
The GOOD NEWS is you can still easily access Arizona Auto Refrigeration
for all of your A/C service!

While the limits of the project are Euclid Avenue to Country Club Road,
during the first phase of the project, work will begin by closing the south side of Broadway from Euclid Avenue to Campbell Avenue to build a temporary detour.
Traffic will be shifted to the north side of the roadway with one lane of travel maintained in each direction with a center turn lane. The south side closure is scheduled to be in place for approximately two months.
On Monday, January 27, Tyndall Avenue, north of Broadway, will close while crews prepare the area for the installation of a storm drain. This closure will be in place for about two months. The side street just north of Broadway and west of Tyndall
Avenue will be open during this time to allow traffic to access Euclid Avenue.
